Ha, i like the part about talking to yourself :) I do that a lot actually and I don't do it in my native language. Unfortunately I'm not there yet to do it in Japanese, just building up an interest to learn it.

Hi! I'm half Japanese and speak it fluently (it was my first language lol!) I've been to Japan many times and then when I come back to Canada, it's so different because almost no one is Japanese where I live!! I'm the only one who speaks Japanese in my whole entire school! So I think it's wonderful that non-Japanese people are trying to learn Japanese. So keep up the great work! Just a warning though, Kanji is pretty hard (I find it really frustrating) so good luck!! :D
