  • yea but the program dont teach your child about the phonics or how to spell the word, what each word sound like, or why it sound the way it does. they dont even teach them their A,B,C's...they only memorize the word..you have to walk b4 you run

  • Actually if you were familiar with the program you would know that the dvds and the word cards do in fact teach phonics, its just simplified for children who are 4 yrs and under and Robert Titzer (the creator) insists that if your child is over the age of 41/2 yrs. the child should in fact start with phonics and not Your BABY Can Read. You should check the website and read the information that he provides regarding your concerns.

  • I have twin boys that are 4 months old. I just purchased the deluxe kit 2 minutes ago. I am excited to get started with this. I think the benefits of this program are tremendous.

  • Great! I'm excited for you, please keep me updated.

  • Just got the program Saturday and showed it three times already. I love it and I can really see what this program can do for my babies. Ive already encouraged by sister and sister n law to get their own for my nieces and nephews. This is a great discovery!

  • I'm so glad you're impressed with the program, just wait until you're at family functions and your child is reading to everyone.

    WOW!

  • @jaws5204 Memorizing is the first step in reading. All kids, even ones who don't use this program, start out by memorizing.

  • @LEANBACKPLEEZ, just buy ur baby can read.. it works.. and the "panty" on the towel rack is obviously a washcloth!!!!! smh@u..

  • Very good review & product. I use it and my kids lovee itt

  • I agree with you my son was born premature and I started him at one years old. He would sit there and watch the movies and cried when it went off. Know at the age three he can read well even sound out words that he never seen before. Love the program.... just had another baby boy started him off when he was old enough to hold his head up.....he hate his swing but every morning I put the movies on 30min and he will sit there and watch it while I get time to do chores and etc. love it

  • im not sure if my other post emerged, but I mention that my son has this program and i bought it at half price books. he started at 14months and by week one he could identify pictures of a tiger, dog, and someone clapping. at two, in addition to knowing more words, he knows his alphabet very well, can count to 30, can ID shapes, colors, and can recite some of his bedtime books. he has so much fun doing it, which is most important :) we need to add the joy back to learning. that helps us succeed

  • i just want to also add that i think what makes kids fall behind nowadays is exposure. if you expose them to different types of ideas and things early on, its easier to adapt. unfortunately these can be good or bad habits. For example, my son, at 2yrs old knows many foods that many of my adult friends dont even eat - bok choy, kale, broccoli, zucchini, coconut.. why? because I expose him to fresh foods and lifestyle and i try to model what is good and healthy for him, like my mom did for me.

  • I was going to post a video of my daughter reading the words so well but her mother declined to that but this program really does work people.

  • I'm a believer... I bought it last night played it ONCE and she learned baby and she has Bern repeating it all day long...she can't identify the word but I was sooo surprised that she identifies the picture I love this program..already

  • Fabulous! Have you tried Glenn Doman's "Dot Method" to teach math? I tested it on the children in my home child care program and it works wonders.

  • HAS SHE BEEN HIRED TO SAY THIS? ITS DOESNT LOOK LIKE SHE IS REALLY IN THE BATHROOM BUT LIKE A GREEN SCREEN THATS FAKE BEHIND HER, ARE THOSE PANTIES HANGING BEHIND HER ON THAT TOWEL RACK? LOL COME ON!
