blah blah blah atheist blah blah blah i'm an ass blah blah blah look at me blah blah blah i'm a rebel blah blah blah just SHUT UP AND ENJOY THE MUSIC, there are plenty of venues to express your religious viewpoints (or lack thereof) out there, and I personally don't think the comments section on a wonderful piece of music is an especially appropriate or effective one.

But Jesus remained silent. The high priest said to him, "I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God."

Considering I'm partly Irish, I don't really appreciate your comment.

@satinbarbi

"The Holy Cracker" made me laugh!

I believe in God, but I prefer to call Him Source or Infinite Intelligence.

I've spent years nurturing the truth within. I can love all religions with a sense of peace because God, as I understand Him, is about individual expression. Each of us is part of the whole.

I feel the same way. I could care less if people say prayers and whatnot, just because I'm Atheist doesn't mean the world needs to be. You know? Live and let live.
Just a time to be with family, enjoy the holidays, and have fun.

Thank you from another Atheist. I love Christmas songs, decorating the tree and even Christmas Mass. When my close family still lived I could have been an in your face atheist at Christmas.

It would have broken my mothers heart if I rejected the holy cracker at Mass. Christmas is a day of pretty lights, pretty music and people trying to love each other. I can live with that.

The point is my friends if atheists like us and Professor Dawkins just sit idly by as the religious nuts celebrate the profanities of their superstitious jargon, then there will never be rationality in the world, to promote such nonsensical concepts like virgin births, raindeers and such through Christmas is corrupting of the minds of people esp. the youth, any reference to superstitious beliefs in any holiday should be eliminated, Dawkins clearly states that they are mere superstition

I'm an Atheist, too. But there is no reason why you can't just shut up and enjoy the holidays. If not for the religious aspect, think of it as a way of getting closer with your family.

Anyway, very pretty song.

If you don't like it why did you even listen to it. You shouldn't be spending all your time looking for something that you can bash on! Everyone has their own beliefs and that is our own right. Get over yourself and leave our cherished Christmas song alone.

You really want to use Richard Dawkins as a reference? That speaks for itself
