We can not let our Flesh Justify our sin. If we are to call our self a Christian, we must live up to the name. Being a Christian means following the life of Jesus, living according to the word of God, and spreading the Good News. Are you Living up to the name?

I mean i could go into how the addiction is against God, or even how we get our personal pleasure from it is equal to lust, or how yeah everything is permissable but not everything is benefitical, like how is this really benefitting to God's Kingdom. The weed is now our master bcuz it controls are actions, but Jesus came to be our master to free our actions. We are not capable to serve to masters at the same time(Matthew 6:24). And well if we chose to allow the marijuana to be over us, it now becomes our God, and one of the ten commandments is "Thou shall not have another God before Him''

. We sometimes only relate the "Sober Mind" to alcohol but sober minded means to have self-control over your mind, being able to govern yourself, having your passions under control. When someone gets "High" then are they really sober minded, like the bible tells us to be? We are now not in control of our appetite for example, we have to eat uncontrollably. we are now in a state where we dont have a sound mind to operate in the things God has for us.

3) Now this last thing I want to bring out is the fact that marijuana is considered a drug for numerous reasons. But one I want to point out is its a mind altaring substances. It changes our thought pattern, it then brings illusions, hallucinations, memory loss, and disorientation. So now something is controlling our minds and thoughts other then the Holy Spirit which is suppose to be guided us. Several scriptures tells us to be sober minded, 2 Timothy 4:5, 1 peter 5:8, ad its even more.

I mean we then can go to fatty foods, and sugary candy but thats neither here nor there our focuse rite now is on marijuana use.

Im pointing all this out to say it damages our body greater than a few peppers or Aloe Vera. So when using "Mary Jane" on the constant bases we are purposely damaging our bodies. And according to 1 Corinthians 3:16-17, our bodies are the temple of God, and if we purposely cause damage to our bodys to get personal pleasure God will destroy us. We are to take care of our bodys for it is not our owns, we were bought with a price.

Any REAL* christian here pls answer my question: so If I understand well, smoking marijuana isnt really sinful or bad, it only becomes a sin when you get addicted to it because u would no longer be able to control yourself, is that correct?

I hear you on pharmacies... but I am yet to see conclusive evidence that "Mary Jane" in harmful to our bodies, also given the argument presented my sister who is recovering from cancer had chemotherapy, which is definately something that damages our bodies, I could name a huge number more treatments... your argument is flawed, but hey let's not promote drug use, but I feel we should be careful haw the scriptures are interpreted, and how we pass judgement on people. I smoke weed and I love God. But i think smoking itself is a sin. Maybe its better to bong it ? this is why i looked it up. but found no answer. maybe its better to chew on weed ? cause its not smoking and i think it still gets u high

(WEED)-U could be a christian and smoke weed but compared 2 a sober chirstian the sober chirstian has more faith cause it says (be sober), but if u smoke weed u could ask for forgivness for not being sober, plus ur not hurtin no1 but its still a sin not a real rank 1 though

@slyproductions412 amen bro. Weed is uplifting and spiritual. Ur right it isn't for everyone but it can help a lot of people. I dnt think smoking weed is a sin. It is a choice and I like to think of it like a stress reliever when life gets outa hand and all u need to do is focus on god weed can help u do that
