When I have brake noise issues I use the Silencer, for cars, cycles and bikes. Silencer spray has soft metals that are pushed into the pores of the rotor to create a better mating surface. Cleaning is good, but this spray stop brake squeal and improves stoping power on new pads. Silencer took only seconds to apply, then I just made 10 to 15 stops to complete. A $15 can does 50 rotors ( BrakeSilencer com ), its their car page but technical is explained. It really works, Mike

For all who want to get rid of sqweak and rubbing use isopropyl alcohol with a concentration of 90% alcohol or higher to clean the rotor. Use a rag that is bone dry with no detergents used to clean it. Paper towel. Do not touch ur rotor for any reason with ur skin bc the oil produced from ur pores will cause ur rotor to sqweak n contaminatr ur pads. Another commonly used cleaner is found at autozone or any car shop. Its the same stuff u spray on ur car rotors before u install new ones. Comes in
