Well, it is mostly a Norwegian "delicacy" and it is mostly inflicted on people during November and December... perhaps someone from there could help you get hold of some. I would pay good money to see you eat it LOL. Oh... and if you find some, first check zoning laws in your area and warn your neighbors before you start cooking it!

Dude, that looked delicious! Presentation does count. It certainly does look like you were committed to trying the artichoke "properly". But I think you may have been a little harsh on Billy; watching that had entertainment value in of itself. :)

Dude, worst thing i ever ate was Lutefisk in Oslo... see if you can track some down :-) It was the only thing i ever ate where i had to swallow each bite 3 times to keep it down - helped by lots of aquavit.

You've told me about lutefisk before - so that was actually what I was going to try, but I couldn't find any. Maybe I just wasn't looking in the right places.
From the sounds of it I should maybe be grateful that I wasn't successful in finding any lutefisk.
