Why has'nt this sport become recognised as a viable alternative to down hill skiing, without the snow? I would love to compete in this aspect of hang gliding!

I don't condone flying dangerously, but damned he pushes the limits, and it is so thrilling to watch. Total fusion of man and machine. He'd probably be more at home in a bat-suit though :)
