Taken from Look Inside (1968) the first of two LPs released by the Asylum Choir, a studio group consisting of session musicians Leon Russell and Marc Benno. Re-issue available on Rev-Ola Records (crrev203). http://www.cherryred.co.uk/revola/artists/asylumchoir.php

All Music Review by William Ruhlmann

This delightful psychedelic artifact is an eclectic, ironic romp through musical styles and show business references, starting with "Welcome to Hollywood." It does show you what Leon Russell was up to before he became a Southwest superstar, and it is also a curiosity in its own right.
