Hey guys and gals!

Just a brief overview on my thoughts about some of the cards that deserve some attention from the ban hammer.

  • I've gotta agree with you on the Cold Wave, its no where near balanced enough. Duality and Solemn Warning you've covered well so no point in discussing those. Monster Reborn gone and Premature Burial back? that i wouldnt mind seeing, prem burial is more balanced, cost 800LP and targets only your grave. Royal Tribute to 2 i could expect to see, and maybe recruiter, but thats it for GK's

    Lord-Sylar-XVI xxx

  • @mikethebassplaya Premature Burial - Brionac.

  • Samurai's will be touched. Thats why kizan is super. Konami made it basically a budget deck because of how broke it is. I admit Sams will take Dallas but theyll become unviable in March. Konami wont lose as much money if they make good TCG exclusives. (Chaos hunter, Scrap Breaker, Karukuri Haipa, Maxx "C". These cards are insane and will push STOR. Sams will be hit in March.

  • @hiten13 I really hope you're right :D But we won't know until we know

  • Who runs 3x Solemn Warning, anyway? Pot of Duality might get a Semi-Limit, but probably not Limited.

I occasionally use Gravekeeper's... and I can't really disagree with you! Royal Tribute is, like, horrendously broken. Gravekeeper's can easily get Necrovalley on the field, thus fulfilling the conditions for playing Royal Tribute. And with Necrovalley in play, they can't use those monsters for anything either.

  • @AllanAssiduity 3x Solemn Warning will be virtually staple if Six Sams don't get hit in the ban list. It's one of the only cards that can consistently be used to stop their summons. Because it negates, they don't get Bushido counters, whereas they would still get the counters if you use Book of Moon/Bottomless Trap Hole.

  • solemn warning is broken negating a summon is a big thing pot of duality is limit worthy and LS are fine they don't need a consistent JD.

  • I really want Mezuki back at 2

  • I agree with this guy, just because Duality is expensive, doesnt mean it should be limited, remember kids, everything gets a reprint eventually so just hang in there. Pot is not broken, its good, but its restrictions keep it from being broken.

  • i completely agree. pot of duality should never be hit! im one of those people that cant afford it but regardless the card adds diversity to the meta. makes inconsistent decks consistent.

i like this format for the large number of top competitive decks. why would anyone want pot of duality hit?

  • @Pewsily Its just down to business ethics. Konami knows Sams are busted. If they wanted sams to push STOR they would have made the main cards(Kageki and Kizan) secret and Kagemusha into a super which makes them tougher to get. however kageki and kagemusha are common while kizan is just a super. Konami has changed super to secret before(cough cough Pot) and it drives sales. Konami TCG knows they are gonna get hit, trust me

  • @Pewsily Oh, true. I'd expect an increase in S/T removal to cope with the Bushido Counter generators (e.g. Dust Tornado, since the opponent can't use Gateway on your turn anyway, so you don't lose a lot by having to wait a turn to set it), but Solemn Warning's probably more versatile and a better idea in general.
