@4me2cclearly - If I purchase a drug from a drug company, then yes, I pay for the research and sale of drugs to those around the world.

Yes, the US has the CDC, universities & colleges who are subsidised by the gov't.

But when it comes to the business of healthcare, the us gov't and the tax payer should not be involved.

Nor should we be involved in "education" but that's another post, I suppose.

The world needs the US to continue with our very expensive and highly profitable medical system. US drug companies will spend money to develop new drugs and medical research will be well funded as long as health care is a strong financial performer.

This way the rest of the world can enjoy low cost socialized health care using drugs and technology from the USA which YOU have paid for the development of.

As I look through the comments and ratings on videos with atheistic view points, compared to the theist videos, I Cant help to notice something odd. It seems for such a small minority of people, that the 5 star ratings for videos supporting atheistic view points, are far higher than that supporting theism.

This might be an indication of a large number of closet atheist. Has anyone else noticed this?
