I spent the first 11 years of my life on the north fork of the Bad River. I can remember playing in the dry river bottom when I was a little kid. I also remember when it would flood in the spring. We had a retaining wall in our back yard to keep the water back. One summer after the water has subsided the neighbor kid and I would seine the pools that were left behind for minnows, that was such great fun for a couple of small town kids. I miss Philip.
