@SerenaBay Im only 17 but I wanna thank you for your service in Vietnam even if you didn't want to go there it must have been horrible over there and to come back to booing crowds wasn't right they didn't see or know what you and your comrades went through in Vietnam so I wanna thank you for your service. I would be so fucked up if I went to war any time any where. I am not fit and I can't work in a group...and god knows if you were a lone wolf at war, you'd be dead in seconds. I'm so socially unstable that I'm incapable leaving my own bed. I'm not violent, so I've never been in a fight...so why would I be able to shoot a man?

The MAN shipped me off to 'Nam in the Summer of '67 III Corps. Charlies fucking everywhere.
royalfool1195...Thank You for posting this incredible series (for some reason, it was temporarily taken off). IF one wants to know what the infantryman's life was like in Vietnam, please watch ENTIRE post. Except for being a POW, we did EVERYTHING, in one way or another, that is represented in this footage. It is remarkable and I remain stunned 43 years later that I and my unit functioned exactly as it is shown throughout. I served with the 1/27 Regiment (Wolfhounds), 25th Infantry Division
