This stray cat stopped eating a few weeks ago. He didn't come out of his make-shift house outside my door. When I looked inside, he was sitting in a corner, skin and bones. I took him to the vet, he said it was probably feline AIDS or leukemia. Further tests and treatment would be quite expensive. I took him home and he's been in the kitchen ever since. He's getting better in terms of eating, and looks much better, and I can touch him now. I called him Junior, because he's the spitting image of his dad, one of the more handsome stray cats in the neighbourhood. His dad suddenly disappeared about three months ago.
aww i feel so bad for the kitty.
animals are so innocent , and i love when people help them out!
i know you posted this 2 years ago, but did the kitty survive? :(

Sorry, I over looked you lived in Japan. Not sure if there are spay clinics there and if LTCI is shipped there yet.

waking up, could you look for a spay clinic? Most clinics can test Junior for you for very little. My clinic will do a Felv and FIV test for 15 dollars.
Also if you really want to give him the very best. There is a new treatment called LTCI. I have two cats that are positive and it is doing wonders. The cat gets a natural shot once in a while and you monitor how he does. No harsh drugs or blood transfusions.

If his dad suddenly disappeared, there's a good chance he passed away because of the kitty AIDs and the son has it too :( I hope you take care of that kitty and give him a good life, however long or short it may be.
