Up On The Roof - A Cappella Doo-Wop

Back in 94, I was in a great show at The Burn Brae Dinner Theatre in Burtonsville MD, called "Jukebox USA". The show was a review of Rock N Roll, Soul & Pop songs. One of the songs that I truly enjoyed singing was an a cappella version of Gerry Goffin and Carole King's "Up On The Roof" which was recorded by "The Drifters" in 1962. I love vocal harmonies, so I've always been a fan of groups like The Beatles, The Beach Boys and such. We had a good time with this show, and I (Jamie Z) performed this song with Jesse F, Prince H and my best buddy TW (Michael C). Enjoy! For those of you who keep asking, we're not a group, we were doing a show at a dinner theatre. As for what we're doing now, Mike & I are members of "The Capitol Steps", Prince is still performing on his own, and I don't know where Jesse is or what he's up to. Thanks for the wonderful comments! Impeccable acapella ! My boys Zimmy and TW sound as good as Philly or NY street corners crooners. All they need is an old fashioned street light and a 55 gallon barrel with a fire burning ! Great job lads !
