For everyone who asks, they're burning clean, dry wood, according to what we've been told. They're operating the device based on "consultation of professionals in the OWB stove industry" along with repairs and modifications by those same professionals according to someone who knows the OWB owners. It's a Friday afternoon, 20 degrees, winter, as if any of that makes a difference. You can clean it, you can put a pipe on it. you can tweak it, you can burn rare exotic hardwoods. You can make excuses in any weather for any season. But at the end of the day, what matters to us (and what should matter to others) is what's coming out of the stack and creeping onto other properties. Is it in excess? That's what's great about America. You can decide for yourself.
Thank you for writing and acknowledging our pollution problem. Our town makes us feel like wierdos for complaining out the dangers of living and breathing too much smoke. They have held a meeting and have decided to ignore our issue. HELLO! Don't mind us over here, we're just being smoked out of our home. We are not just crying wolf! So thank you for your acknowledgement. Merry Christmas!
