This is a nice documentary about the Jewish anarchist movement in US. During the early 1920 th and forward. It was filmed in 1980.
It features historical footage, anarchist songs and interview with both famous and none-famous anarchist who was a part of the movement and still was convinced anarchist until their older days.

  • Union members that picket and accost "scabs" are just as bad as the employers they are protesting. Perhaps even worse as they threaten with physical violence.

  • I would definatly not agree with that. Scabs are traitors to the social struggle. it's complexed, some of the scabs might not have a choice, economicaly some does it cause they beilive in yellow unions, anyways. Scab is a scab is a scab and could if he or she thought about it, join a union who doesn't collabroate with bosses and those in power.

    "So, you were an agitator."

"Well, we all tried to do our best."

  • LOL! A "little old Jewish lady " talking about fighting cops. Love it! Gonna def use this when someone in my family suggests that anarchists are unrespectable young punks.

  • @Gusty85 ... continued: @Gusty85 I have seen such a case in South Africa and in such cases a "Scab is a scab is a scab" is simply wrong.

In such circumstances where the ones committing scab labour are in a truly desperate and extreme situation, no one should use violence against them. Rather use sabotage as a tool in the struggle.

  • @Gusty85 such a union might not be avaiable or be powerless and extremely weak compared to the yellows. The working class might be extremely impoverished and isolated from each due to distance and lack of means of communication (third world rural areas). also in places ridden by hunger and starvation the workers being used as scab labour might not have a choice. It is hard to be idealistic when you, your wife and children starve.

  • yes and did you notice St Marks is also mentioned...I taped Robert Steele there who pretends to be ex CIA

  • I use to share your opinion. but without a principled stance against any form of oppression or form of aggression you're just a leaf blowing in the wind. Be comforted by the knowledge that there are more that would be brutes than victims.
