  • "I currently have no clearance on that product, however my clearance items are located here" Take them to that area in your store with clearance items. If you are not having a store clearance get their emails or home addresses and add them to a email listing to send them updates on when the clearances are to be held. Some will appreciate you and pay full price because of your kindness. Some will only come for the clearance, but either way it is nice and professional.

  • Good advice. I have actually been doing that. THANKS!

  • This was too funny. I've watched a couple of your videos and liked what you had to say, but THIS one made me a subscriber lol. I had to favorite this. That phone conversation was off the chain. I needed a good laugh too.

Retail is a trip. I would show the customers other items within their price range and let them know about some items that are on sale. Good luck.

  • Welcome aboard! Thanks for joining me.

  • AtlantaSistah,

You have a legitimate claim, but it should've been put in a professional context. The phone calls and jokes detracted from the legitimacy of the quest. & conversation, which is what do you say to "nonmodel" customers. My suggestion is to educate customers. Put price labels in the same place so that they will know where to look. Educate customers about the process of business. Tell them that you have to pay the manuf., taxes, etc. They will understand why the price is what it is.

  • Actually I like the way the video came out. And I have gotten great responses with info that I have acted on. But thanks for your input. It is indeed appreciated.

  • When a customer attempts to negotiate on the price, you can tell them about upcoming specials/discounts or you can direct them to a similar item that is already on sale. You may also offer them a coupon, if you use those, for savings on their next purchase.

  • The sad thing, beautiful sista, is that these same Black people wouldn't think twice about spending up to triple the amount at White-owned establishments. This--and the fact that our people are trained to violate basically every law of economics--is the reason why so many Black-owned businesses (aside from barbershops and beauty parlors) go under. And just WAIT until the Koreans start doing hair...it'll be over.

  • This video rocks! "DAMN!" I laughed so freaking hard!

To be honest, another virgo here by the way, I would probably be sarcastic but try and hold it in, I would just say cos that's the way it's priced, no more no less. Some people are such fools for real though.

  • "then he's gonna call back... DAMN!!!" soo funny...

I was puzzled by the questions some of your customers asked.. i have no clue what to say...

  • make it happen man, that is cool

  • Great advice!
