In 1893, a bounty hunter named Ernest Thompson Seton journeyed to the untamed canyons of New Mexico on a mission to kill a dangerous outlaw wolf.

Week after week, Seton tries new tactics to capture and kill Lobo, but Lobo foils his efforts again and again — even recognizing and disarming Seton's powerful metal traps.

"The Wolf That Changed America" airs on PBS Sunday, October 10, 2010 at 8pm (check local listings) and is part of the 29th season of the Peabody and Emmy award-winning series produced by Thirteen in association with WNET.ORG for PBS. Major support provided by Canon U.S.A. Inc. http://www.pbs.org/wnet/nature/episodes/the-wolf-that-changed-america/introdu...

  • Stop the Slaughter!!

    Save the Wolves!!

    Awesome Video!!

  • You have the most cold heart I've ever know.

Wolves kill for eat, not for fun (like humans do). And I don't think you can say 'Thank God' because wolves are also His creatures. There is no 'payback' thing in nature. It's the Nature working. We also kill chickens, cows and pigs to eat... Do you really think it's right to kill ANYTHING just for the fun of it?

  • wolves deserve to be here just as much as humans do..humans ruin everything we wipe out species cuz we dont have the sense to try to preserve we fought so hard to bring the wolf back just to kill them all again!! and the ppl on here against the wolf need to learn the facts about them first i have 2 of my own and they are the best animals ive ever had as pets

  • wow that's one sly foxy wolf

  • Now we have wire snares, better traps, Xylitol, parvo corona virus, and the deadliest of all - the tre-tre snags - three treble hooks tied with mono line in a hub, place in a chunk of meat. Causes wolf gastric distress!

Shoot, Snare, Sweeten, Snag, Sicken, Shovel, and Shut up!

  • hahaha wolves are smart. It probably smelled the dudes or his horses scent.
