@voorish Disagree big time. I find Starfire and Chthonic to contain extremely uneventful, drawn-out songs, while Battle Magic has a more majestic feel with far more memorable cuts. The instrumentation (I'm assuming you're talking about the keyboards...because nothing about the guitars, drums, or vocals are in any way "fake") may be a bit more melodic and, yes, Disney-like, but I wouldn't call it any more fake sounding on this album than the rest of their catalogue.

This song is most definitely not gay... it's brilliant! i didn't like it the first few times I heard it, but it grew on me... Especially the last couple of minutes of it, it's very majestic and victorious sounding!
I'm a big fan of DS9 and ST in general - but I don't see the connection between Bal-Sagoth and Trek...

I like the song (in fact I don't dislike any of their stuff) but I don't see how it fits with the video at all. As another poster said "fish with jam"

the ONLY vid this music should accompany is coca-cola's christmas ad
The main theme is a complete "HO HO HO, MEEERRRY CHRISTMAS!"

Star Trek with Blood slakes... this song is about a celtic warrior condemned to death in the roman arena; wtf does it have to do with DS9???
Oh wait; i get it... DS9 sucks and everyone hates this song :(
It rules. WYRULD CYNINGA!!

definitely one of the gayest Bal Sagoth songs they ever did, with fake sounding instruments and bad composition. But Starfire and Cthonic are still masterpieces.

Another pointless, shoddy twinning of two utterly unrelated things with no form or editing know-how. This is like putting fish with jam. Unbelievably stupid.
One of the best Bal-Sagoth songs

A cool song by Bal-Sagoth. And a very interesting combination with DS9 footage!
