I'm a 34 year old man waiting for my surgery date. I've never had surgery before, but after about a year of just not feeling right, I finally got "the pain." I don't know of any other way of putting it... I've just had a constant feeling of malaise, nausea, bouts of dizziness, the obvious pain on my right side, et cetera... I look at you showing your scars and right after, you're picking up your son!? My goodness... You're a champ! God bless you and your family - and thanks for the vids. :-)

Thanks for your informative video! I am having my gallbladder out tomorrow so I've been researching what others have gone through. I also didn't think it's my gallbladder since I have no stones, but my ejection rate is 26% so the surgeon recommended removal, but my gastroenterologist said NOT to remove yet. They can be so confusing! I went on pain meds yesterday for stomach pain "ultracet" and it made me sick and dizzy all day yesterday! Don't know what they'll do for me for pain tomorrow.
Get well soon...you mentioned Iowa. where at in Iowa you if you don't mind my asking; I live in Iowa. Take care...3 more weigh ins to go for me...YAYYYYY!

Hey Abbie! Good to see you, but sucks that you were gone because of surgery. I hope you're feeling 100% very soon. Your son is ADORABLE.

My surgeon told me that a high percentage of people who has WLS end up having their gallbladder taken out so they have everyone take actagall for 6 months post op as a preventative. Well I wish you a speedy recovery!

Actigall only prevents stones from forming, it does not change the functioning or correct the functioning. I took actigall for 5 months it might have helped, at least I didng have stones! I did have sludge tho even with the actigall!
