THE FAR SOUTH

José and Sonia Catrin are the sole inhabitants of Puerto Toro, Chile, closer to Antarctica than any other settlement. They lead an isolated life with very limited supplies, few things to fill their time and little company.

Cool video. I live in the US and it stinks to see that people are living small lives. (i guess you could say?) Here in the US well in the middle class we have a pretty decent sized house with two floors, we go to restaurants and play Xbox or watch T.V, go to school, but in Puerto Toro they have a trailer home. I wish the US or someone can help people get a better house and stuff. Oh, and hopefully I learn Spanish next school year.

me da pena, como el estado no es capaz de incentivar el desarrollo en ciudades desentralizadas que hacen patria en soledad.

el turismo deberia ser fundamental en estas zonas  para que la gente tenga mas convivencia con el mundo y no sea una burbuja

Vivo en Cd. de Mexico, una ciudad muy estresante, y en Sn Pedro Garza, cuando hay necesidad y por negocios, pero al fin al cabo tambien es estresante. Al ver este bello sitio y ver a su gente tan feliz realmente dan ganas de renunciar a todo y largarte a este bello lugar a descansar.

Hermoso lugar de nuestro país hermano Chile.
