@perm30 I didn't mean to asses Bolden's play as a comparison to McGloin although admittedly that's what it sounded like. I'm more disappointed in Bolden for thinking that he played well. Sure, he might have done better than McGloin had his receivers caught those passes, but he still didn't play well IMO.

@perm30 Bolden gives them a much better chance against teams like Bama. He was trying to go out there and impress people firing those deep balls while McGloin was just checking it down against slow Indiana St. Although there was that one play McGloin was falling back for a sack and decided to try and throw it, almost caught by the D-Lineman and ran the other way for 6.
The O-Line was horrible though, neither really had a chance on a few plays.

@WhiskeyTango12 not necessarily,,, rob had two passes that where DROPPED for touchdowns and woulda put him over 100 yds and if they were caught we would all be talkin about him bein the starter... mcgloin played good also but i think rob woulda had a wayyy better game had derek moye and justin brown caught those passes

I was there! That first touchdown for penn state was amazing! I sat in section EJ row 27. I'm from New Jersey and I went to see my sister in the blue band....and to watch the game and to tailgate :)
