Saint Ange (House Of Voices) MOVIE REVIEW

SPOILERS !!!!

House Of Voices is a French ghost / horror movie from the same director as the movie "Martyrs".

It's really well shot and has some great looking scenes. Too bad it came up a little short in plot department. Also, the dialogue was sometimes a little hard to follow with the french accents.

A girl named Anna (I think) moves into an orphanage to help tidy it up over the summer. She is pregnant and is trying to hide it. Also, she was abused quite badly. She has bruises and cigarette burns on her back. this was never explained why or how and adds nothing to the story.

Anyways, she soons hears ghost kids running around and decides she better solve the mystery. Why ? I guess why not. It's not really explained why she feels obligated to. Actually, a lot is never explained.

Who drowned the kittens ? What happened to the ghost kids ? How did they die ? What's Judiths backstory ? What was the boss lady's role in the "killings"? WHAT THE FUCK ?

Nah, the plot was actually really simple, although it had a bunch of holes. It doesn't really fuck with your head that much. Pretty basic story wise.
