This was definetely 1 of the biggest marketing campaigns to selling a magazine i've ever seen. they created this illusion of Ellen begging to be on the cover of O and staged it as a big wish, a personal quest for Ellen.The whole story was followed by both audiences (Ellen's and Oprah's) and, surprise (not!) it turns out that they came up with 3 different covers for O. Amazing! Genious idea.Those issues were probably the best selling ones of all time for Oprah's magazine. Congrats to the ladies
