  • not to be nosy, but how much money did you put into this restoration?

  • This car was a family project between my father, brother and I. We have maybe 8-10 thousand dollars invested. The car was in our possession since 1988 alternating between indoor and outdoor storage. When we finally brought it into the shop for restoration, friends laughed at us because the car was in such sad shape.

  • hey i was wonderin how bad of shape it was in when you got it bc i gotta 1970 torino 429 cj gt that im tryin to do for my grad poject so if u could please answer my question

  • Can't really post pics on youtube but if you give me your email address I'll send you pics of the car before resto. Basically the entire unibody was rotten...rebuilt torque boxes, frame rails and all or trunk and quarter panels...

  • nice car, i'm just in process of doing my rag as well, vid of my build should be up shortly

  • thanks, looking forward to seeing yours...there just aren't many torino rags left.....pretty rare...

  • My Aunts father has a Torino GT like this model except the rear taillight panel is like a honeycomb style.. are these cars worth getting into?...... its unrestored and there are no rusted holes in the body.
