  • @AnimeLoverForever16 well my budgie and ring just loved to play games i guess sorry for such crappy advice th0

  • is this the first time your training your tiel? or is this like u kno the 3rd trick or a week after u initially taught him

not to seem doubting, just jealous lol my tiel wont leave my shoulder long enough to see a ball

btw wat kind of ball is that???

  • @looterwolf

how did you train them ???

i am trying to train both my cockatiel and a budgie, i used to have a ring neck and he was such a dear, now my tiel is the lazyest bird ever and the budgie seems to have no interest in humans at all

    :(

    any advice???

  • he is such a cute bird, i would love to have one like that!!!

  • now i dont havea bird or anything YET lol..but ive seen videos and i think ill teach mine like this:

put down an object and when ur bird gets it on its own make a sound and award it with a treat, continue doing this..make sure u let the bird get it on its own at first...dont shove it in its mouth

start adding words as your bird does it , like PICK UP - click- feed-....repeat..

then u can add a motion...like lifting ur hand and saying "pick up!" when the bird does it click and give treat

  • Lol, he really loves the food your giving him :)

  • good job!!!! my ringneck she would just pick it up and drop it get her treat get sad when u take the sead away...... its so hard 2 train her ive trained a budgie 2 do more tricks then her but i love her

  • gaining trust with your bird is the most important thing.

stick your hand inside the cage and dont take it out. When your bird touches your hand say good boy/girl and give it it's favourite treat.

Also is your bird new or was it hand tamed (has been with owners and is used to humans) when you got it.

Hand tamed birds like humans better and can come out of the cage in days.

Non hand tamed birds can be afraid of humans and so you need to do more trust work with them.

  • Wow. Fast learning bird!

  • can you give me any tips,on how to getting

my cockatiels out of their cage... ?

cuz my birds are so scared.
