Also i never forget the visit of the Burmese finance minister to Munich. Talking with him i was addressing the brutality of the regime. And guess what! He was crying. What does that tell us? People grow up in a military regime, obey and act, not even questionning. Hannah Arendt wrote about Eichmann and how he evalutated his crimes against humanity, retrospectively. Even Bush and most recently witnessed, Blair believes, he did the right think?! What is the way out of this neurosis?! Am not sure!
Am just remembering when i was sent to Burma by SAG to negotiate a telecom contract. Knew about the brutal regime and was hesitant to even travel. At least the telecom network might, of course also used for military purposes, open Burma to the world?! At a small scale!! Will never forget these negotiations with extraordinary Burmese people who were so loving and caring, even facing such a brutal regime. Also I admire Aung, who won the nobel peace prize for her work and what she stands for!!!!
It is often in the name of cultural integrity as well as social stability and national security that democratic reforms based on human rights are resisted by authoritarian governments.
The struggle for democracy and human rights in Burma is a struggle for life and dignity. It is a struggle that encompasses our political, social and economic aspirations.
THANK YOU dearest LIGHTWORKER & heroine of our time, Aung San Suu Kyi!
No matter how those of the dark & evil choose to exile & silence you, they will NEVER achieve their ultimate intent ... people like myself, know about you & your most worthy & justified cause, in every corner of our planet.
We ALL so commend, respect, honour & LOVE you dearest fellow Earthling & human sister.
We should all be allowed to live in freedom, it is our rights as a human being. What a bold, beautiful, bright, being. May her voice keep on....loud & clear, even in silence it is powerful. Thanks for posting & share.
