January 2008
China may have one of the newest skiing industries in the world but it also has one of the fastest growing. With some resorts open 24 hours a day, more and more people are discovering the delights of skiing.
Beijing has more than ten skiing resorts within a few hours drive and "more resorts are opening all the time". Skiers come from as far away as America and France to try out the local slopes. Now foreign investors are starting to recognise the potential for growth. As one says; "it's a future market that's very important".
