He was talented, brilliant, and much more. I've heard him do a song where I was laughing at the first verse and crying by the last one. The lyrics for this can be found with a simple search on line. One of the lines is "Your teeth are like stars that come out at night." He got that one from Homer and Jethro whom he admired.

I miss Steve Goodman more each year, talent, wit, great picking skills and a brave man who fought his cancer and squeezed every bit out of his short life.
