A cultural extravaganza and rich folk heritage mesmerized the locals and tourists at Rannotsav - a three-day desert festival in India's western Gujarat state.
Music, dance, pageantry and a carnival highlighted a colorful display of the states rich culture and traditions.

"It's been very enjoyable. It's very colorful, very beautiful and the culture in Gujarat is very different to other parts of India and so, it's been a blast, it's been good."

"It's really interesting. I've seen all the different types of dances, different types of music and there are so many new things to learn. Everything across India is different. So I've been learning a lot, it's really fun, really good to see everything."
Bhuj is a region with an abundance of archaeological sites, historic monuments and holy places.
