It's a good try, though you did struggle with emulating the cute voice as you said, but maybe you can sing it with your normal voice and it could turn out better. There's no need to copy Mikuru's voice exactly. :)
I think I was hearing some voice in the background. You could use the off-vocal (no voice) version and merge your recorded voice over it for a clearer output.
I'll be sure to check what you come up with next! I'm glad I was able to listen to your first attempt. :)
