@HD7100 it is very nice riding in australia . we have many great places to ride our horses. i wish it snowed just once here . in winter. our summers are very hot . and our winters are cold . but nothing as cold as where you live. cheers enjoy your day.

@horsehgirl The only snow cantering I have ever tried is out on the trails and only when I knew there was no ice under the snow. It is wonderful going out on wooded trails and trotting or galloping through snow drifts.

I *thought* it had something to do with staying on! Winslow looks so relaxed. Have you seen Lorenzo, the flying horseman? I like the videos of his 6 greys galloping in the ocean!

I am the only percheron rider where I am although there is one other person who rides a percheron who boards his horse several miles from where I have Lee. No I never got into the trials thing and such. Gary

@planes100 It must be nice riding in Australlia. Snow is fun but here in Wisconsin it gets old after the first few storms. Gary

Beautiful scenery, good looking horse, mangled old cowboy (just kidding Gary). I really like two things, one you commented on and that was listening to Lee walk and the sound he made, love it. The other was the geese in the back ground, what a joy to hear them as well! K0TRH

@ThomasRHaines Tom, I had a great time riding Lee yesterday (5/28/11). I guess you and Mike along with your XYLs were having a day of it yesterday as well. I went riding with a couple of people who brought their horses up from ILL for the weekend. One horse is a 4 year old grey percheron rescued about three years back from an over turned 2deck trailer taking horses to slaughter. He is a big baby like Lee and he is so huge he makes Lee look small.

Beautiful scenery and beautiful horse. I miss riding as I had to retire my horse. Lee looks like a real pleasure to ride. I didn't own a draft, but always wanted to. I did learn to ride on one. He was a great horse.

@youthnotlost Thanks for watching. I haven't done much riding this past winter but am looking forward to spring.
