This early, Nick Hancock-hosted episode of Room 101 with Frank Skinner still holds my vote as the funniest ever (with Paul Merton/Bill Baileys episode a close second). Even my grandmother who doesnt get British comedy laughed and laughed at this one.

  • The new series must have Nick Hancock and Paul Merton since they've all appeared on each other's series

  • Is Bobby Davros, Rock with laughter bad?

  • Okay, I get the "Marmite"/"Ma Might" bit, but where's the pun reference in the words "Hopeful Pa"? Is there some other condiment with a similar name I've never heard of?

  • I like the Action Man's hoodie!

  • Frank looks so purely 90's...watch this is '88 or something....'I associate this with humiliation' haaaaaaaaha

  • @Rawc90 2/2 You may not like her but it is a unfair to call her a whore. It also undermines your own argument because you come across as an ill-educated, ranty nutcase which devalues your opinion. It is acceptable to criticise her professional output but stooping to name-calling should be beneath you. You also seem to be confused about what makes someone a whore; whoring is not being stressy and high-maintenance. Whoring is what your mother would do if someone would actually pay her.

  • @Rawc90 1/2 I'm surprised that it needs explaining but then you don't strike me as the sharpest tool in the box; Emily Dean (whom I assume you mean by "the women" although that is the plural) is playing an exaggerated version of herself for comic effect. She is a successful TV producer, journalist and broadcaster which I doubt she would be if she were as stressy as you think. It is also be unusual for someone that stressy and high-maintenance to have a dry and self-deprecating sense of humour.

  • @lydz25 I used to love his podcasts but i hate the women on there! Firstly shes a stressy high maintenance bitch. But i also hate how whenever Frank tells a funny story she goes Frankkkkk.... STFU YOU WHORE! and she is a whore.

  • doing a little research for when Skinner takes the helm.

  • 'Marmite, hopeful Pa', implying Ma (mom) might have sexual intercourse, thus a hopeful pa (dad). It's a naff joke.
