Hi Captfrank. Good first flight. Alot better than mine.lol. Was you flying in 3D mode or regular? Sounds like 3D. I haven't tried 3d yet. Is it easier than regular mode.. I do better on the simulator in 3d.. I am not having very good luck with mine. 3 hover practices and 2 crashes..lol..

Great flight mate,yeah you have to take the cold into consideration but still you did well to get out of that lol,i haven't had my heli's up for a good couple of months too because of the weather and i miss flying them so that is why i had to buy some r/c planes i could fly in a little wind unlike my heli's,5*

Thank you very much for the 5* and your comment! Yes we have the same probleme here with the wind. I am practicing a lot in the phoenix flight sim with wind and hope to be good enough over the winter to fly with more wind. I think it is possible to fly up to 10 m/s.

I know these things are difficult to fly, but please get camgirl to stand next to you when filming, its the safest place to stand! Dont fly helicopters directly above you and if you ever join a club you will only be allowed to fly in figure 8 patterns in front of you, so you should practice that when in the park. Good luck with the Blade, I've just bought one, I used to fly a 70 size MA FuryExpert hence my youtube name.

great video i appreciate it. I just ordered my blade 400. should be arriving in a few days. One question though. Are you using stock servos and all stock parts? or did you upgrade anything. I heard alot of complaints about how the blade 400 servos aren't any good so i was seeing if i would have to put more money out to replace them.

Hi cyclemandavid, thank you very much for your comment. Yes my gyro is stock. I am thinking about the 401 too but not before next summer, because my budget is over ;-)

Hi captfrankheli, good save, is you blade still stock? I want to change my gyro with something better, 401? i have a logictech 2100 on my helimax 400/450, its good,but compared to the stock gyro on my blade its real good .
