She has a pure, clear and absolutely beautiful voice. Let her grow up and we will have one of the greatest singerswe have ever met if nothing disturbs this development. But she is very ambitious. She hates herself showing nerves and making mistakes. She just stumbled over it in the past but cutie you'll get it in the future!
That is the obvious comparison, esp as Hollie chose songs Andrews made famous for her audition & semi-final & another for the BGT Tour. Hollie may go toward theater, like Andrews, or classical/crossover like Charlotte Church, the other singer she has been compared to, though Church broke into public view at about 13.
I've read that Hollie sang "Nessun Dorma" at a concert, so we may hear more classical music from her. Her album is due out in the Spring.
Yeah, replying to myself. I should mention that Charlotte Church, though she often sang as a soprano, is really a mezzo-soprano. (E.g., her rendition of "Habañera" from Carmen.) Hollie is deifinitely NOT a mezzo-soprano--at least not now. OTOH, Sally of 2Grand & Connie Talbot are. What Hollie really is--or, rather, will be--we'll have to see, as so much depends upon the timbre of her voice, not just the range, & her timbre will change as she grows up.
