  • THANKS MAN

  • @soundmusiclover No problem!

  • Hey Man!!

Could you tell me where you got your replacement battery please?

Mine has finally given up the ghost......

Thanks man and thanks for the video; they're GREAT little amps.

  • @Playingmuhguitar Hello PMG, yes I love that little amp. I bought my replacement battery at Fry's Electronics, a major chain on the west coast. As it turned out the battery was actually fine, it was the recharger (part that plugs into the wall) that was broken. Those are a little trickier to find but Crate is still supplying them or if you poke around online you can probably find a cheaper one.

  • can u explain me how to replace the taxi battery and where i can find one?people at crate just ignore me

  • @risingsorrow Just saw your question now, sorry I'm a little late. I'm surprised Crate is ignoring you, they were friendly with me on the phone. Anyhow, the metal plate comes off the amp via four screws. Once inside you will see the housing for the battery. Four more screws and wallah! The specs for the battery should be printed right on it. Let your fingers do the googling from there, it should be easy to find online. Let me know if you have any problems, good luck!

  • @BudMantheyBand at only 1,323 views, I'd have to argue you there. :)

  • I've started taking my taxi 30 watt on small jazz gigs to play piano through, one less lead to plug in, I've used it to play music at a wake (had to wind the treb and mid most of the way down), and for home practice with bass guitar and effects pedalboard, it's clean and clear and takes the hammering. I'm thinking of modding it to provide an extra DC output and a speaker extension as 30w can be loud through an efficient speaker.
