Okay so my hair looks like crap! Please excuse.

It's going to take a long while before I feel comfortable recording myself so I apologize with the "umms" and nervous twitching and stuff.

Please comment and subscribe! I can use all the support I can get!

  • You did great on your video. I also am doing my work-up for weight loss surgery. It takes so long. I want to join the youtube wls comunity but am a bit nervous about it. I had the last supper syndrome when I first started the process to have wls. It was kind of scary feeling out of control that way. It's under control now though. Good luck with your surgery. Can't wait to see the new you.

  • Thanks! I know your first video can be nerve-racking but once you do it, it gets easier. I am glad to hear you last supper syndrome has gotten under control. For the most part mine is too, as I don't want anything to endanger me during surgery I am trying to be healthy beforehand. Good luck with all your pre-op stuff. Sometimes it can seem like it takes forever but then all of a sudden your surgery date will be here!

  • I am a Resee's addict. I'm not big on candy or candy bars but I definitely eat my Resee's. That king size gets me everytime! Haven't had a "fix" in about a month or so but I could relapse at any moment! :-)

  • What is it about that sweet sweet peanut butter and chocolate combo???

  • Wow you hit it right on!!!!!!

"Last Super Syndrome".............It's the perfect phrase. You start to validate eating everything with "Well I will not be abe to eat after surgery, so I need to eat it now". I almost have a feeling of loss. Just knowing I will be "losing" food, makes me want it more. I am going through very similar situations as you are, knowing my surgery will be in August. I loved hearing Someone else is going through the same thing!

  • Good to hear I am not the only one! Food has definitely become my "friend" over the years and I can't help but mourn the fact that soon enough I won't have it to turn to. I am definitely a bit scared to lose it but I know in the end this is all for the best!

  • @LapGyrl Its Reese's motherfucker, REESE'S!

  • Wow, August 14 is close. I was trying to move right before surgery and it helped to keep my mind off of the surgery. The food addiction is still a struggle for me, but it does get easier. I hope you have an easy move that goes quickly. A new place and a new start in life. Thats so great.

  • wow moving and having surgery, best wishes

  • Im so excited for you your date is fast approaching. My friends try to do that with me I used to give in to it. but now I suggest walking instead. my friends have really been great they have been willing to take a walk with me instead of going out to eat. We actually get much more conversation in too instead of scarfing on the food we are actually talking lol.
