The black man speaks.
Intel has better processors, AMD/ATI has the best graphics cards, intels GPU seem to be better at web surfing, i have an HD 4650 & Athlon II x4 630 and Hulu is choppy as hell :( and yet with my little Pentium M laptop Hulu works perfectly.

how did you get that Cool Alt tab thing .. mine only comes with a little box with all my stuff in ? ..

I never knew AMD & ATi where designed for Windows 7. Or the other way round

much prefer AMD. I have a 3 year old HP AMD Athlon 64 x2 with windows 7 on it and it runs as smooth as anything as if I just got it out the box still. the girlfriends intel core 2 duo laptop..... afraid I can't say the same for that.

what benchmarks that

AMD sucks but I prefer ATI over Nvidia...too bad AMD is holding ATI back

correction: They are advertising integrated graphics here Radeon HD 4200
and 27FPS is pree good for integrated
-
well they're probably using their integrated graphics here instead of the better radeon cards
is that a S880 Chipset?

no, this is the AMD 785G chipset. It features ATI Radeon HD 4200 graphics. You'll have to wait a little longer for the AMD 8-Series chipsets :-)

AMD is launching a new mainstream desktop platform tomorrow and with price performance that the competition can't touch. New AMD Athlon II X4 quad-core processors deliver more cores at a better value - mix in superior AMD IGP chipsets and you will be hard pressed to find better value.

Thanks a lot for posting a reply to the comment thread. Good to see AMD being involved in conversations with users.
I do have one question, though: is the AMD Athlon II X4 Quad-Core CPU slower or faster than it's Phenom II X4 brother?
Atheismrulez 2 years ago
These new Athlon II X4 processors carry a lower frequency than some of the Phenom II processors; and as AkoyPinoy2 says, Athlon II processors do not have L3 cache. However, without L3, the die is smaller and can be more efficient. These new Athlon II's have a 95W TDP, while the majority of Phenom II parts are 125W TDP. Go to 'more information in the video description, it will take you to the press kit for more detail.
