Crystal Calhoun shares with parents how to use a positive behavior modification technique to get kids to do their homework. This technique uses rewards rather than punishment, and it doesn't cost money, require parents use of time and energy, or produce negative side effects.

  • I understand ur concern n felt that way initially 2. However, after doing the same thing repeatedly n getting the same neg result, I knew I needed 2 do something diff 2 get a diff result. It may sound cruel but it's really not. My son eagerly does his hmwk now n is motivated 2 complete it correctly. Besides, getting hmwk out the way is necessary b/c he has football practice n is 2 tired 4 hmwk after. Ur child may not gravitate 2 the same thing so what u withold mayb diff. Thanks 4 ur comment.

  • You are a sick cunt that doesnt deserve to have children

  • I like this idea, my little one has aspergers. She is 6 and what I found is that if I offer to play a game after she finishes homework or computer time she is alot fast to finish her homework. I will some times do a light energy increasing activity like we have a opush up contest. If she beats me, and she always beats me. She gets to have one little snack or drink with homework. Thanx for the advice, keep it coming please I like this.

  • As a parent, I think that not allowing your child to relax or rest a little before making them start working is cruel even if your intentions are good. When an adult comes home from an exhausting walk or ride home and a long hard days work, they usually need some relaxation, so why not the child. So I think children should be encouraged to do their work at school or at least an hour after getting home with some other positive reenforcement method.
