  • thats a really cool video!! I ride a hurricane as well may i ask what speed you have had it up to and what is the chainwheel size on the front? many thanks

  • hi uncletam, I don't recall the speed but I reckon it's not more than 55km/h. My maximum speed ever was 83 km/h in the Italian alps though. I should count the 'teeth' on the chainweel side. It must be about 45-50. All best, Peter

  • That looks like fun. I'd want one of those bikes just for that, going fast down some sort of slope.

  • test drive one so youll realize that recumbents are faster on the flats and just as difficult to drive uphill as an upright bike.

  • what the smack????!!!!!!! as isfhjri&^$#$gandolf

  • my god thats awesome

  • I'm curious to know if training on a recumbant produces higher average speeds then a standard UCI legal road racing bike? On any hill the power loss will slow you down but on a relatively flat stretch I'm assuming your 5 mph quicker maby?

  • dude i could not Mandel that on a recumbent they look so hard to fall with

  • that's scary. I would fucking lose control and die
