You heard them. By driving electric for 3 days, they denied 36 trees a year's worth of CO2. Is this what we really want?

@justice1thunder I think it is early 30s.
without batteries. it's certainly not cheap and despite something like 200million $ invested they've gone bankrupt several times. while I am a big fan of electric cars, the think business case is not impressive. maybe they can get going this time

@DanFrederiksen, My point is, this seems to be a completely worthless car but the guy doesn't seem to find any disadvantages at all...

The owner of this brand drives around in sportscars with fast engines. He does not drive the cars that me make.

Just so you know it.

I want to see a crash-test of theese cars.

Why wait for coal power to be phased out? EV's are so efficient with current battery technology that it's still way cleaner to run an EV that is charged completely from Coal than it would be from gas.

Think about the carbon footprint / emissions of getting gas to your pump. First, you have to power an oil rig to get the oil out of the ground. Then you have to transport the crude to a refinery. Then you use a lot of electricity / power to refine the crude. Then it has to get to the pump!

@Shrubtastic I HATE it when people give the coal-powered electricity argument!!!!!!! THINK ABOUT IT PEOPLE: Here we have an electric car next to a gas car. The electric car gets it's power from a coal plant. The gas gets it from gasoline. One day, the government installed solar panels all over and wind turbines too. Now the electric car gets it's power from renewable resources. And the gas car can't go anywhere, because foolish humans worried about coal power sucked the earth dry of oil. The End

Hydrogen for fuel? I don't believe it's going to happen. Why, because it takes more energy to make hydrogen than it does just put gas in our cars. More energy consumed= more pollution. Another thing to consider is that we will get the hydrogen from fossil fuels not water, so hrdrogen = a fuel that is going to run out. If you think EV's are expensive, hydrogen cars will be worse, about $100,000 each, at that price I'll stay with my gas powered car.
