I know some people mentioned the beauty of wild Australian parrots. I so wanted to see parrots flying wild and free in Australia that I spent 6 months doing nothing but traveling all over Aus from one end to another and filming 50 species. All but the Night Parrot. If anyone wants to have a look you can simply click on my video channel. Hope you enjoy the footage. Cheers!

@redToadGrl Educate yourself. You allowed an UNTRAINED bird to fly outside. the people who free fly their birds undertake extensive training and also are very picky as to which birds even fly.
What bird is that at 2:45:

@MultiFast201 The bird at 2:45 is Obee, a patagonian conure. He is my oldest flyer and has been flying with me since 1993. Chris

This is my macaws favorite video. She sits SO calm and does not move when I play the sounds of your macaws. What do you thing that means? She isn't afraid, I know that.

@danita4 It is hard for me to say what it could mean. It may be that she instinctively recognizes some of their vocalizations as they communicate during flight. Beyond that I have no idea what it could mean. Chris

@chrisbiro1 dont you guys ever worry about hawks?
MrCali925 1 year ago
@MrCali925 Hawks are always a concern because of the dire consequences if the hawk should catch the bird. But the odds of the hawk catching a properly trained bird are slim. In the past 18 years of flying parrots, I have witnessed over 30 hawk attacks and so far no fatalities from hawk attacks. Chris
