Sorry evelynjoyce but I'd say that this was a Raven! You can't deny the characteristics of the bird in the footage, this is without doubt a raven (in my opinion). Seems like there's one more person who can't tell the difference eh!

its definately a raven, look at those talons, the voice, and the thickness of the beak

Nice crow. He must have liked your vibrations. xoxo

@evelynjoyce You mean, like yourself? Interesting lesson to learn: Ravens are a type of crow (genus Corvus). How does it feel eating crow for the last 3 years? ;)

@sailor1936 Ravens are bigger then crows ;D

Sorry... Maybe I had a bad teacher of English, but it seems to me, you had a bad teacher in geography and zoology :-))) Ravens have a big locality. What about London or Russia for example? But I agree with you, raven bigger than crow, and sometimes they have different colours. In Saint-Petersburg crow is grey, raven is black.

1:03 awesome jump

Easy..raven is twice the size of a crow, at least they are in northern Canada.

You can't tell from the voice because this raven doesn't make any calls. The calls you hear are from a recording you can find at either shades-of-night dot com on the corvid calls page, or the original located at naturesongs dot com/raven1.wav Nevertheless I can verify that this is a raven. They are intelligent and curious and like to study the world!

its a raven, you can tell by the voice and the purpilish fethering
This is a crow. It's amusing how many people can't tell the difference between a crow and a raven.

And how exactly would you differentiate the two?
