They tried to muzzle her post-war, but no dubious sinister bunch of fat-cat nepotistic political trend- benders can hold down or block real star quality, or a diva who has half the world singing her praises, while she sings right back at them...for which they love her even more. I 'discovered' Zarah Leander several years ago after searching for this song. What a find! What a voice! She is 65 in this rendition, no longer a youngster but still a beautiful woman and a hugely talented performer. Thank you for sharing.

unter den paar Brocken ist eben auch wunderbar. Woher kommt das? Die kennen doch bestimmt nicht dieses Lied oder? Und wenn ich mich mit deutschsprachigen unterhalte, dann kommt das Wort eigentlich sehr selten vor. Immerhin gibt es für dieses Wort sehr viele Synomyme.

In den vergangen Monaten erlebte ich schon des öfteren von nicht deutsch sprechenden Leuten, dass dieses deutsche Wort "Wunderbar" durchaus bekannt ist und durchaus schon fast für Erheiterung sorgt. Ich hörte z. B. einen Radiobeitrag bei dem eine Asiatin ihr dt Lieblingswort nannte. Und das war eben wunderbar. Oder ich war in der Türkei und traf auf einen Einheimischen ohne Dt Kenntnisse. Never saw this. I'm grateful to see it and know that she did some performing later in her difficult life. She was badly treated and made a scapegoat by the guilty conscience of Germany, maybe because she was Swedish.
