@seventy8degrees I'm not mad at you. In fact, I'm not the one that originated that quote. The narrator of the Super Bowl XIX highlight film said those words at the end as you see the 46ers celebrating their SB win over the Dolphins. That narrator was Brad Crandall who attempted to be the next John Facenda, but it didn't turn out that way.
@TheRetro64 uhm.. please don't get mad at me, I'm just a girl, but the 1985 CHICAGO BEARS with SUPERBOWL XX are the only MASTERS OF THE GAME... and it's their 26th year... that entire season has got to be why the game was invented right?
Super Bowl IX comes to mind and I'm not sure why.

Super Bowl XIX highlight film. Marino throws two interceptions and the 49ers rout the Dolphins.
"They were not only champions of the world, but MASTERS OF THE GAME."
