i play something similar to tabla: khol, which is the clay mridanga. these ppl who criticise yu might think: "jews have adopted many cultural things from both germany & spain, both places betrayed them. SO INDIA NEVER DID, WHY BE ANGRY IF A JEW ADOPTS INDIAN THINGS? jews also gained much from being in egypt. on & on... you see there was some of god's purpose in diaspora. & if not for intermarriage, jews would be inbred freaks by now. there should be a BRACHA 4 Variety & diversity among jews:)
