Linx B-Tube wireless stereo/speakerphone arrived today. Bluetooth rechargeable speakers. The handsfree option allows it to be used as a microphone too ... just tried that and it is very crackly. I'll need to see if I'm doing anything wrong. As a speaker unit - which is why I got it - I'm happy with the sound and range.

  • Loved your comments at the end! cheers

  • Sounds like I was bunged up with the cold and seen one cr@ppy comment too many on YouTube. As if people's life depended on defending or attacking some person's review of a thing. One of the reasons I'm focusing more on real life these days.

And the B-tube is part of my notebook's travel kit.

  • Hi SC.

There's a connection for a 3.5mm jack (provided), and another for the power (I've not tested how long the battery lasts).

The pairing is done by holding in one end of the tube until the lights glow.

To be honest, I've used it just a few times with my notebook, but it has been great when I need it.
