Heres a guitar based on Gibsons SG to the spec of Anthony Fairlamb, one very happy customer!
One piece mahogany body, one piece maple neck. Ebony headstock veneer and fingerboard. EMG 85 with volume and killswitch. 24.75" scale length, tunomatic and string through body.

  • err one thing ... the vids says that it`s a gibson that he self made -.-

if you make the guitar youre self ...

it`s not a brand -.- then you need to think of youre own name

  • It says "heres a guitar BASED ON a Gibson SG" not that its a gibson.

  • omg i f*cking love this guitar, how much did you charge for parts and labour? also can you do more and shinier inlays?

  • It was for a friend so I charged him £600.

  • hey man nice job on these guitars keep it up im also wondering did u but all the wood and cut it out ur self or just but the parts and put togther

  • Just from blanks, everything is done from timber.

  • @wibbletricycle OR Natural finishes are for guys who appreciate nice wood and don't want to cover it with payers upon layers of paint and sealer and plastic finish(That's what Polyurethane is) All those payers of shit dampen your resonation and tone, so I never use them, just a nice hand rubbed stain and hand rubbed and buffed Tung oil or Teak Oil finish, and when you're using nice woods, like Indian Rosewood, why the hell would you want to cover it up?

  • the pickup looks like it's positioned at the middle of the body.

  • nice

  • @wibbletricycle natural finishes are for guys who like them...

  • Natural finish guitars are for guys who can't apply real finishes. It's a cop-out

  • man its great but i think one pick-up and one volume kinda ruins it for me and theres not relly and good finish bet it sounds great thow

  • @FloroSapien man if you like that kind of look... check out my gibson explorer guitar build be sure to watch the right video iv got 3 videos about a dean razor back so be carfull thanks

  • @maggotman94 Yeah, so am I. I'd absolutely love an Explorer with a 1989 ESP MX headstock for $700 to $950 if that's possible.

  • whats the cheapest guitar u can build dude? I AM SERIOUSLY thinking about buying one
