Champions Online - Lightspeed

The Lightspeed premium travel power in Champions Online. Or as it is lovingly refered to: The TRON travel power.

Ingame info for CO players:
The power works in exactly the same way as Superspeed. It is only the effects that differ.
The light trail is turned off during combat (so do not worry about a lightspeed team ruining your view or performance in PvP).
I am told the light trail does not scale with the size increase of the magnifier device. So do not worry about a huge character the size of your screen running circles around you ;)

is it always blue for example super speed cosmetic changes green on my scourge does this change colour to your powers like red for the mind and green for scourage? and great video ^^

You can change the colour just like any other power. If travel powers for archetypes change to a set colour, this will too. I havent played this game in nearly a year though so don't know anything recent.

No, it's Champions Online. But this power has a very "Tron" look to it.

Has your character actually got lightspeed? It is a travel power like all others. You have to go to the powerhouse and pick it as your travel power, which may mean redconning you character. If your character does have the power and the graphics effect isn't working, then you will have to i) file a bug report (note that the wait time on that can be months) and ii) post about it on the official forum which devs at least used to read. Or PM @Robobo ;)

@JakeramsPvP That I do not know. Darkspeed was added after I got banned from the forum and quit playing ;)

There are people who will tell you lightspeed is faster. This is WRONG. It has been confirmed by the devs that the two are absolutely the same. The change is purely cosmetic.
