This tune was on the Doobie Brothers, Captain & Me album which I nearly wore out. Patrick Simmons was and is a 'guitar hero' of mine, and one of my all-time favorite rhythm guitarist. After all these years this song still does it for me! Thanks for watching, dale.

I'm grabbing the b string 1st fret & the G string 2nd fret and sliding it up two frets and then back down and then open B & G and then a hammer on 2nd fret D string.   • I am so thankful that you post your lessons! Such a beautiful song, so well played. I've listened to lesson 1& 2 and your cover and know the song now - but I'm basically a beginner and I'm stuck/can;t pick up what you do at 4:06- 4:09 in your cover. Can you describe it ?
